How we write and check what we publish

The rules for every guide, strategy page, scan page and calculator on LeadFinn.

Our own numbers first

A strategy page shows what the strategy did in our own backtest: the stocks, the dates, the candle size, every charge paid and the result after costs, including when it lost money. We do not copy win rates from videos or other websites. Where we quote a rule (a tax rate, a trading time, a lot size), it comes from the official source: the exchange, the regulator or the broker's published rate card, and we note the date we read it.

No tips, no hype

How a page is made

  1. A topic is picked from what Indian traders search for.
  2. The strategy or rule is backtested on real NSE data with full charges (see how we test).
  3. The page is written in plain words, with the numbers from that test.
  4. A second check goes over every number, rate and date against its source before the page goes live.
  5. Pages are rechecked when a rule or rate changes, and the "updated" date moves only when the content does.

Daily scan pages

Each scan page is rebuilt automatically after every trading day from that day's candles, using the same scanner you can open and change. Stocks that did not trade on the latest day are left out. A user's shared scan gets a page only if its name is clean (no links, phone numbers or promotions); the person who made it is never shown.
